The Wellness Community Center of Central NJ will release 120 majestic monarch butterflies to symbolize "Wings of Hope," a celebration of life to honor those touched by cancer. The day will include fun, family activities and a special butterfly art project sponsored by the Somerset Art Association.

Please help us in this effort by volunteering to help. Volunteer responsibilities include:

Meeting once prior to Saturday, June 12 with SAA's Executive Director who will demonstrate the art project. Prep work may be necessary (ie. cutting out forms, gathering art supplies etc.)

Setting up the art project the day of the event. Must be able to meet at SAA at least 1/2 hour prior to event start.

Demonstrating and assisting children as necessary with the art project.

Cleaning up at the end of the event

If possible, volunteers should also be available on the rain date of Sunday, June 13 from 3:00-4:30 pm.

butterflyTwo to three volunteers are needed. Great opportunity for teens (age 14+) needing community service hours.
